Samsung Makes Free Offer To Every Galaxy S24 User

When Samsung launches the three new Galaxy S24 smartphones later this month, there will be exciting free offers for those who pre-order one of its flagship phones.

Samsung is widely anticipated to host a Galaxy Unpacked event on 17th January, during which they'll unveil the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. These handsets are expected to hit the shelves in major territories before the month ends, but prior to that, there will be a pre-order period featuring various complimentary offerings to stimulate sales.

Update: Tuesday, 2nd January. Samsung has officially announced the forthcoming Galaxy Unpacked event to launch the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Alongside confirming the event's timing at 10 am Pacific on 17th January at the SAP Center in San Jose, CA, Samsung unveiled a special offer for those who reserve a handset before the launch - a pre-order bonus, so to speak.

Mirroring a similar offer seen during the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 launch, customers who reserve a handset between the 2nd and 16th of January will receive a $50 credit applicable towards the purchase of a handset from the S24 range.

Details about the pre-order offers are yet to be revealed; these are likely to be disclosed during the launch event. However, recent reports hint at the return of two options designed to attract consumers to the new Galaxy flagships.

The first is the "double your storage" offer, allowing consumers to upgrade to the next model’s storage capacity at no additional cost. For instance, purchasing the 128 GB model of the Galaxy S24 would entail receiving the 256 GB model, extending through the range up to buyers of the 512 GB model of the Galaxy S24 Ultra who would obtain the 1TB model. It could be interpreted as a doubling of storage or as a discount on models with higher storage capacities, presenting an appealing choice for budget-conscious consumers.

Then there are the bonus accessories. Samsung is expected to offer every Galaxy S24 buyer discounts on the Galaxy Buds Fan Edition wireless earbuds and Galaxy Watch smartwatches. The latest Buds FE, launched late last year alongside the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, come equipped with active noise cancellation and a transparency mode, priced at $99. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 6, introduced in the summer of 2023, boasted improved battery life, slimmer bezels, and WearOS 4, priced at $299.

It remains to be seen which peripherals will accompany which phones and the extent of the discounts offered. By way of comparison, Google provided a complimentary set of Pixel Buds Pro to those pre-ordering the Pixel 8 smartphone, along with a free Pixel Watch 2 for those pre-ordering the Pixel 8 Pro.

Lastly, there are the exclusive models exclusively available via Samsung’s website.

Samsung will offer a broad spectrum of colors across the S24 range, but some will solely be accessible through the website. Those aiming for the highest-spec Galaxy S24 Ultra are likely to have to order via Samsung’s website, particularly if, as anticipated, the 1 TB storage option is exclusively available online.

Recent leaks regarding potential European pricing suggest that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ might be marginally less expensive than their equivalent S23 models. In contrast, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to carry a higher price tag than last year’s Galaxy S23 Ultra.
